Sin embargo, cient\u00edficos bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Irina Esterlis, de la Escuela de Medicina Yale, lograron encontrar un biomarcador que alerta del riesgo de suicidio. Pero prevenir el suicido es realmente dif\u00edcil&nbsp;porque hay poca informaci\u00f3n sobre los mecanismos biol\u00f3gicos que lo provocan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los cient\u00edficos de Yale trataron de comprobar si las irregularidades relacionadas con el receptor metabotr\u00f3pico de glutamato 5 (mGluR5) indican que la persona est\u00e1 predispuesta al suicidio. Invitaron a 29 personas con TEPT, 29 personas con&nbsp;depresi\u00f3n y 29 personas sin trastornos mentales a participar en su ensayo.
