Se produce por un cese o disminuci\u00f3n del aporte de sangre a una determinada zona del cerebro debido a la&nbsp;<strong>obstrucci\u00f3n parcial o total de un vaso<\/strong>&nbsp;(arteria o vena). Deja grandes secuelas a su paso, incluso puede llegar a producir el fallecimiento de la paciente. Sus efectos dependen de la importancia del vaso obstruido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"670\" height=\"446\" src=\"https:\/\/iguala3.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/noticia-ictus-mujer.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iguala3.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/noticia-ictus-mujer.jpg 670w, https:\/\/iguala3.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/noticia-ictus-mujer-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy por hoy, el ictus es&nbsp;<strong>una de las principales causas de muerte de las mujeres.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu\u00e9 factores de riesgo se relacionan con los ictus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre los&nbsp;<strong>factores de riesgo<\/strong>&nbsp;m\u00e1s importantes que pueden condicionar la aparici\u00f3n del Ictus en la mujer se encuentran:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>La&nbsp;<strong>edad:&nbsp;<\/strong>mujeres mayores de 40 a\u00f1os.<\/li><li>La&nbsp;<strong>hipertensi\u00f3n arterial.<\/strong><\/li><li>La&nbsp;<strong>hipercolesterolemia familiar.<\/strong><\/li><li>El&nbsp;<strong>tabaquismo.<\/strong><\/li><li>La&nbsp;<strong>historia familiar o personal de episodios de ictus o trombosis.<\/strong><\/li><li>El&nbsp;<strong>uso de m\u00e9todos anticonceptivos hormonales.<\/strong><\/li><li>La&nbsp;<strong>obesidad.<\/strong><\/li><li>La&nbsp;<strong>gestaci\u00f3n y el puerperio.<\/strong><\/li><li>La&nbsp;<strong>insuficiencia venosa perif\u00e9rica y p\u00e9lvica<\/strong>&nbsp;(varices en miembros inferiores y varices p\u00e9lvicas).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Conviene saber que estos factores aislados pueden no ser causa suficiente de ictus en mujeres j\u00f3venes (etapa en la que el riesgo de ictus es bajo). Sin embargo, deben ser controlados para evitar o disminuir el riesgo&nbsp;<strong>durante la posmenopausia&nbsp;<\/strong>o en mujeres premenop\u00e1usicas que presenten una predisposici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De esta manera, se debe descartar esta predisposici\u00f3n mediante el estudio de determinados factores en mujeres que consideremos de alto riesgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Predisposici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica al infarto cerebral<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre los&nbsp;<strong>factores gen\u00e9ticos<\/strong>&nbsp;m\u00e1s conocidos est\u00e1n los relacionados con las&nbsp;<strong>trombofilias.<\/strong>&nbsp; Se producen por d\u00e9ficits de determinados factores de la coagulaci\u00f3n, como son el factor XII y el factor V (los cuales se asocian a una disminuci\u00f3n de la actividad de determinadas prote\u00ednas sangu\u00edneas, como por ejemplo la Prote\u00edna C y la Prote\u00edna S. Estas se pueden determinar en un an\u00e1lisis rutinario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otra parte, existen alteraciones de determinados genes, como el&nbsp; gen de la MTHFR. Estos producen un&nbsp;<strong>incremento de la homociste\u00edna<\/strong>, que se asocia tambi\u00e9n con el incremento del riesgo de ictus y cardiopat\u00eda isqu\u00e9mica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Debemos resaltar que estas alteraciones de la coagulaci\u00f3n&nbsp;<strong>se relacionan tambi\u00e9n con un aumento de abortos precoces<\/strong>&nbsp;(primer trimestre de la gestaci\u00f3n). De esta forma, deber\u00e1n ser estudiados en toda paciente diagnosticada de aborto de repetici\u00f3n (dos o m\u00e1s abortos consecutivos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como conclusi\u00f3n, pensamos que el riesgo de trombosis e ictus no se encuentra suficientemente estimado en la poblaci\u00f3n femenina. Asimismo, creemos que el&nbsp;<strong>screening de trombofilias y alteraciones gen\u00e9ticas<\/strong>&nbsp;que producen un aumento del riesgo de ictus deber\u00eda ser llevado a cabo de forma rutinaria en toda paciente con dos o m\u00e1s factores de riesgo. De esta forma, se lograr\u00eda&nbsp;<strong>disminuir la mortalidad y las importantes secuelas secundarias&nbsp;<\/strong>de los ictus en las mujeres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuente: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unidaddelamujer.es\/ictus-mujer-infarto-cerebrovascular\/\" target=\"_blank\">unidaddelamujer.es<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Iguala3<\/strong> desarrolla actividades de <strong>Prevenci\u00f3n Primaria del Accidente Cerebrovascular (ACV) en Centros de Mayores de Castilla-La Mancha<\/strong> y tambi\u00e9n para <strong>Asociaciones de Mujeres <\/strong>que lo solicitan.
