{"id":2595,"date":"2025-08-05T11:51:53","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T10:51:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iguala3.org\/?p=2595"},"modified":"2025-08-05T11:51:54","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T10:51:54","slug":"la-rehabilitacion-del-dcs-con-animales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iguala3.org\/index.php\/2025\/08\/05\/la-rehabilitacion-del-dcs-con-animales\/","title":{"rendered":"LA REHABILITACI\u00d3N DEL DCS CON ANIMALES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los animales han convivido con los humanos desde la antig\u00fcedad, y son varios los estudios que han demostrado sus efectos positivos en la calidad de vida de las personas, en su recuperaci\u00f3n en contextos hospitalarios, y en su equilibrio psicol\u00f3gico, f\u00edsico y social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Terapia Asistida con Animales (TAA) es \u201c<em>una intervenci\u00f3n dirigida por un profesional, en la que el animal es la herramienta fundamental del proceso de tratamiento, y cuyo objetivo es promover una mejor\u00eda a nivel f\u00edsico, psicosocial, cognitivo y\/o emocional de la persona que recibe el tratamiento.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta intervenci\u00f3n ha mostrado su efecto terap\u00e9utico en personas con trastornos neurodegenerativos (Alzheimer, Parkinson&#8230;), personas con trastornos mentales graves, trastornos del neurodesarrollo (autismo, par\u00e1lisis cerebral&#8230;), v\u00edctimas de violencia o abuso sexual; personas con discapacidad motora, enfermedades cardiovasculares y pacientes con da\u00f1o cerebral adquirido (DCA).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iguala3.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Imagen1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"256\" height=\"133\" src=\"https:\/\/iguala3.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Imagen1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2596\" style=\"width:267px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>El DCA es una de las principales causas de discapacidad de nuestra sociedad. La TAA ha demostrado una serie de beneficios importantes en la rehabilitaci\u00f3n de estos pacientes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mejora del estado de \u00e1nimo: <\/strong>La interacci\u00f3n con animales puede reducir el estr\u00e9s, la ansiedad y la depresi\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n influye aumentando su sensaci\u00f3n de bienestar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mejora de la funci\u00f3n motora:<\/strong> El contacto con animales puede estimular la movilidad gruesa, el equilibrio, la postura y la coordinaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mejora de las funciones cognitivas: <\/strong>Mejora la atenci\u00f3n, la concentraci\u00f3n, la comunicaci\u00f3n y la memoria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mejora de la comunicaci\u00f3n: <\/strong>El animal puede facilitar la comunicaci\u00f3n no verbal y la interacci\u00f3n social.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mejora de la calidad de vida: <\/strong>La TAA puede aumentar la autoestima y la motivaci\u00f3n para la rehabilitaci\u00f3n.<br><strong>Activaci\u00f3n del sistema l\u00edmbico: <\/strong>Relacionado con la alerta, atenci\u00f3n y motivaci\u00f3n generada por la actividad.<br>La TAA suele realizarse con perros, caballos, gatos y delfines, siendo las m\u00e1s frecuentes las dos primeras.<br>Es importante diferenciar la Terapia Asistida con Animales de las Actividades Asistidas con Animales (AAA). La TAA tiene unos objetivos terap\u00e9uticos establecidos y deben llevarla a cabo profesionales sanitarios cualificados y capacitados en el manejo de los animales y en las t\u00e9cnicas aplicadas. Adem\u00e1s, los animales utilizados deben ser entrenados para interactuar de manera efectiva y segura con los pacientes.
