El d\u00eda que conoc\u00ed a Brenda cambi\u00f3 todo. La ingresaron en urgencias por ataques epil\u00e9pticos recurrentes, nada los deten\u00eda, as\u00ed que le indujeron un coma.<\/p>\n<p><b>Eso suena muy grave.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Intubada, con la respiraci\u00f3n asistida&#8230;, cada vez que se le intentaba retirar la sedaci\u00f3n volv\u00eda a tener ataques epil\u00e9pticos. Al quinto d\u00eda la jefa de neurolog\u00eda le retir\u00f3 la sedaci\u00f3n y nos retuvo sin intervenir ante un espantoso ataque. \u201cEsto no es epilepsia\u201d, dijo, y la mand\u00f3 a casa.<\/p>\n<p><b>Vaya.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Durante veinte a\u00f1os han llegado a mis manos pacientes con s\u00edntomas f\u00edsicos neurol\u00f3gicos pero cuyo origen era psicol\u00f3gico.
