Marta nos saluda justo antes de entrar a quir\u00f3fano. Nos ha dado permiso para grabar una operaci\u00f3n que les va a impresionar. No les ense\u00f1aremos ninguna imagen fuerte, pero s\u00ed c\u00f3mo la van a operar de una forma muy especial. Porque le van quitar un tumor benigno del cerebro, mientras est\u00e1 despierta y respondiendo a preguntas para comprobar que todo va bien.<\/p>\n
La operaci\u00f3n empieza como todas. Ella anestesiada mientras abren su cr\u00e1neo para la intervenci\u00f3n. Dos horas despu\u00e9s, los anestesistas despiertan a Marta.<\/p>\n
Poco a poco Marta se despeja, y nos ense\u00f1a su fuerza. \u201cPsicol\u00f3gicamente puedo con todo\u201d, afirma sin dudar. Y habla con el DR. Martin Tamarit, el cirujano que detr\u00e1s de ella est\u00e1 operando su cerebro.<\/p>\n
El tumor est\u00e1 pegado a la zona que afecta al habla.\u00a0 El cirujano va a ir dando peque\u00f1as descargas en el \u00e1rea, para ver por d\u00f3nde puede acceder al tumor sin que le afecte a la hora de expresarse. Empiezan las pruebas. Le piden que cuente sin parar.<\/p>\n
Hasta que, al tocar una zona, Marta directamente se bloquea. Vuelta a empezar, series normales hasta que, en otro punto, se queda en blanco.<\/p>\n
Lo que estamos viendo nos deja impresionados. La cosa se complica. Ahora el cirujano tocar\u00e1 una parte del cerebro de Marta que le provocar\u00e1 cosquilleo en la boca.<\/p>\n
Poco a poco el cirujano se va haciendo sobre el mismo cerebro un mapa. Ahora, Marta tiene que nombrar os objetos que aparecen en los dibujos. Todo bien hasta que, al tocar en un zona, confusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
El cirujano ya tiene un plano de esa zona del cerebro para saber por d\u00f3nde puede entrar a quitar el tumor sin da\u00f1ar nada.<\/p>\n
Mientras la intervienen hablamos con ella. Una de las entrevistas m\u00e1s impresionantes que hemos hecho. Y le preguntamos sobre las pruebas, qu\u00e9 sent\u00eda mientras respond\u00eda.<\/p>\n
Nos sorprende mucho su fuerza ante la enfermedad. \u201cHay que ser valiente. Hay que pasar por esto y hay que pasarlo\u201d, dice sin miedo.<\/p>\n
Y cuando acabamos la entrevista, ya le han quitado el tumor. Un futuro optimista, y una paciente que nos ha dejado con la boca abierta.<\/p>\n
